Veronika EBERLE

Veronika Eberle was born in Southern Germany. She studied violin with Christoph Poppen and Ana Chumachenco.

Sir Simon Rattle’s introduction of Veronika Eberle, aged just 16, to a packed Salzburg Festpielhaus at the 2006 Salzburg Easter Festival, in a performance of the Beethoven concerto with the Berliner Philharmoniker, brought her to international attention. Key orchestra and conductor collaborations since then include the London Symphony (Rattle), Concertgebouw Orchestra (Holliger), New York Philharmonic (Gilbert), Montreal Symphony (Nagano), Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin (Janowski), Hessischer Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester (P. Järvi), and Munich Philharmonic (Langree).

Veronika Eberle is a dedicated chamber musician, with regular partners including Lars Vogt, Renaud Capuçon, Antoine Tamestit and Anna Prohaska.

Veronika Eberle’s exceptional talent, the poise and maturity of her musicianship have been widely recognised. She performs on the Stradivarius 1700 violin “Dragonetti” on loan to her from Nippon Music Foundation.
